After sharing some fun apple crafts from books about apples, I have some printables for one of those books. My family loved Dr. Seuss books, but never found Ten Apples on Top until last year. So, I’m getting a copy for my grandkids, so I’ll be prepared. If you want to get a copy for your family, .

Today, I have a few Ten Apples On Top activities and they are free to you. Be sure to read the book, just for fun before you start any Ten Apples on Top activity. You’ll also get our Apple Activity Guide with Johnny Appleseed Activities, too.

Counting:

On each page of the book, let your child count each apple on top of the character’s head.

Cut out 10 apples and glue them to a long piece of construction paper. Let your child write his numbers on each apple.

Rhyming:

On each page, let your child choose the words that rhyme. Use our free homeschool worksheet – printable to get started.  You can get your copy by leaving your email below.

Fun:

See how many apples your child can stack on top of each other.

Cooking:

Make sugar cookies with an apple cookie cutter. Frost with red or green frosting. Read Ten Apples On Top! Start a stack of apples. As you read add another cookie on top. When you are done…enjoy your cookies.
